Teen dies in Clonakilty road crash

The single-car fatal road traffic collision took place on the Clonakilty to Dunmanway Road in Co Cork in the early hours of this morning.

A YOUNG WOMAN was killed in a road traffic collision in the early hours of this morning.

Gardai are investigating the fatal collision, which occurred at 5am at Ahagilla, Clonakilty, Co Cork on the Clonakilty to Dunmanway road.

An 18-year-old female driving a jeep was killed in the crash.

Gardaí say she was on her own in the vehicle and that there was no other vehicle involved in the crash.

The road at the scene is closed pending an examination by Garda Forensic Collision Investigators.
