3. #TAXI DRIVERS: Ireland’s consumer watchdog has called for increased access to ride-hailing apps on the Irish market due to a taxi supply shortage, but the Transport Minister says the government has no intention to let private drivers provide taxi services.

4. #EXPANDNG APPLE: Apple is opening its first permanent office in Dublin later this year, with space for up to 300 staff, as the tech giant continues to expand its footprint in Ireland.
