THE GOOD INFORMATION PROJECT is a space where Irish news consumers can learn how to identify good information about issues that impact their lives. Each month The Journal will engage digital audiences on one major topic to create a space for discussion, learning and sharing new ideas and solutions.

Our aim is to create a direct conversation with Irish citizens about critical issues facing our country. In an era of disinformation and confusion, we want to create a meaningful dialogue with our audience to see how we can find and distribute good information and provide a platform to discuss solutions.

We will facilitate respectful discussion around vital topics like climate change, housing, the impact of Brexit, and the future of healthcare in Ireland. This project will draw on expert voices, citizens who have a lived experience of our topics, and those who think they might have solutions.

The Good Information Project was co-financed by the European Union in the frame of the European Parliament’s grant programme in the field of communication. The European Parliament was not involved in its preparation and is, in no case, responsible for or bound by the information or opinions expressed in the context of this action.

In accordance with applicable law, the authors, interviewed people, publishers or programme broadcasters are solely responsible. The European Parliament can also not be held liable for direct or indirect damage that may result from the implementation of the action.
