Three men arrested in connection with attempted murder of woman set on fire at her Dublin home

Alexis Campion suffered severe, life-changing burns to her face and body during the attack at her home in Clondalkin.

THREE MEN WERE arrested in connection with the attempted murder of a west Dublin mother who was set on fire at her home last November.

Alexis Campion, aged 44, suffered severe, life-changing burns to her face and body during the attack at her home in Oak Downs, Clondalkin, on 25 November.

She was in a coma for weeks after being set alight and has spent months in hospital.

The three men, ages in their 20s, 30s, and 40s respectively, were arrested this morning by gardaí investigating the attempted murder. They are detained at garda stations in Dublin.

Nine properties were searched during the operation this morning, gardaí said.

The arrests today follow a 34-year-old man being charged with attempted murder in relation to the incident at the end of March. His two co-defendants were charged with connected offences.

Investigations are ongoing, gardaí said.
