ON A RECENT trip to a fishing village in Alaska, former governor Sarah Palin came in for some heavy criticism from a local teacher.
The woman, who had erected a 30-foot banner marked “Worst governor ever” in honour of Palin’s visit, accused her of sacrificing her political promises. She said Palin was building her celebrity status instead of focusing on the promises she had made when sworn into office.
