Gardaí investigating serious stabbing in Dublin

A 22-year-old man has been hospitalised but his injuries have been described as not life-threatening.

GARDAÍ IN KILMAINHAM are investigating a serious stabbing incident that occurred in a public house in the Dolphin’s Barn area last night.

A 22-year-old man was stabbed numerous times in the upper body at about 11.45pm.

He was taken to St James’s Hospital, where his injuries have been described as not life-threatening.

His attacker – an unknown male – escaped the scene and no arrests have been made. It is understood he was wearing a balaclava when he entered The Barn House.

Inquiries are ongoing.
