Two teenage boys arrested after serious assault in Blanchardstown on Sunday

A man in his 30s remains in a critical condition in hospital.

TWO BOYS IN their mid-teens have been arrested following a serious assault in Blanchardstown in Dublin on Sunday. 

A man in his 30s remains in a critical condition in hospital, according to a statement from An Garda Síochána. 

Gardaí said they have arrested the two boys as part of the ongoing investigation into the incident. The boys are detained in a west Dublin garda station under Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act 1984.

Gardaí are appealing to anyone who may have witnessed the incident to come forward. 

They are appealing to those who were travelling either by foot or by car along Mill Lane between 4pm and 5pm on Sunday to contact gardaí.

They said they are particularly interested in speaking to a female passenger who was travelling in a silver Suzuki vehicle that was parked in the grounds of Connolly hospital during this time.
