Body of missing 28-year-old Steven Trainor found

His body was found on the coast near Cumbria in the UK and Gardaí have said they are not treating the death as suspicious.

THE BODY OF missing 28-year-old Steven Trainor has been found off the UK coast, near Cumbria.

The Derry native had been missing from Dublin since 19 September. He was last seen in the Smithfield area but it was believed he took a taxi towards Howth in the early hours of the morning.

Gardaí told TheJournal.ie that they are not treating his death as suspicious.

His remains will be brought home to Limavady in Derry tomorrow, according to the Facebook page set up to assist in locating Steven.

A funeral mass will be held on Thursday and a book of condolences has been opened at Sam’s Barbers at Lower Ormond Quay in Dublin.

Steven would have celebrated his 29th birthday next Thursday.
