Cannabis resin found by gardaí
TWO PEOPLE HAVE BEEN arrested after gardaí seized cannabis resin worth an estimated €1.4m. A 200kg stash was discovered in a van stopped by the garda drugs unit on Arran Quay, Dublin city, and more was found in a follow-up search of a warehouse near Rathcoole. A 60-year-old man was arrested on Tuesday night after the van raid, and a second man, 40, was arrested after last night’s warehouse search. Further arrests are expected, say the gardaí.
