Man dies while climbing Carrauntoohil in Kerry

It is believed the man may have fallen and sustained fatal injuries.

A MAN HAS died today while climbing Carrauntoohil in Kerry.

In a statement, a garda spokesperson said that the man appears to have fallen and suffered fatal injuries. 

The incident happened at approximately midday today.

Gardaí are investigating the sudden death, but added no other person was involved in the incident.
