Child struck by garda

A 12-YEAR-OLD BOY has been taken to hospital after being struck by a garda car in Limerick this afternoon. The incident happened around 1.30pm on Patrick Street in the city centre. The boy’s injuries are not believed to be life-threatening, and the Garda Ombudsman’s office has been informed.
