Tyrone Bomb

Civilian police worker attacked

A FORMER POLICE officer in Tyrone has escaped injury after a bomb partially exploded beneath his car. The man, who now works as a security guard at Cookstown PSNI station, was driving to work at the time of the explosion. Dissident republicans have been blamed for the bomb. This is the third such attack on security personnel in the North in a week.
