Woman in her 60s killed in road crash, four others injured
The incident happened at around 4pm this afternoon.
A WOMAN IN her 60s has died after a two-car collision in Cork.
The incident happened at around 4pm this afternoon at the Skew Bridge in Tivoli.
The woman was initially seriously injured at the scene, and was transferred to Cork University Hospital where she was pronounced dead a short time later.
Four other people were also taken to hospital and their injuries are not thought to be life-threatening.
The scene is being preserved for forensic and technical examination and local divisions are in place.
