20-year-old arrested after serious late-night assault in Dublin

A 41-year-old is currently in a serious condition in hospital.

A MAN IS in a serious condition in hospital following a late night assault in Dublin.

The 41-year-old was attacked on Cork Street just after midnight.

He was rushed to St. James’s Hospital where his condition is described as serious.

Gardaí arrested a 20-year-old male a short time later. He is currently detained at Kevin Street garda station.

Cork Street was closed while a technical examination of the scene was carried out.
