Man (22) to appear in court over death of homeless man

He was arrested on Thursday afternoon.

A MAN IS due to appear before court this morning in connection with the death of a homeless man in Cork earlier this week.

Vincent Morgain (37) was found dead on Oliver Plunkett Street in the centre of the city last week.

Gardaí arrested a man (22) from Cork county in connection with the death Thursday afternoon.

He is currently detained at Bridewell Garda Station, and will appear before a special sitting of Cork District Court in the morning.
