Man facing charges after gardaí targeting organised crime find loaded gun in car

A woman arrested with him will be released without charge.

A MAN IS due in court tomorrow after he was arrested by gardaí investigating gangland crime in the capital.

The man, who is in his 30s, was arrested in Ashtown, west Dublin along with another woman.

The pair were arrested after gardaí searched a car and found loaded handgun inside

Both were detained at Finglas Garda Station and the man is now set to appear before a sitting of Dublin District Court tomorrow morning where he will be charged.

The woman was released without charge and a file is being prepared for the DPP>
