Man seriously injured after crash between car and e-bike in Cabra

It happened on Faussagh Avenue in the Dublin suburb at around 7.40pm on Monday.

A MAN HAS been hospitalised with serious injuries following a crash in Dublin 7.

The collision, involving a car and an e-bike, happened on Faussagh Avenue in Cabra at around 7.40pm on Monday, according to gardaí.  

The cyclist, a 50-year-old man, was taken to the Mater Hospital with serious injuries.

The scene was examined, gardaí said, and the road has since reopened.

Investigations remain ongoing and gardaí are appealing to anyone who may have witnessed the incident to contact them. 

Any road users who may have camera footage, including dash-cam footage, from the area at the time are asked to make it available to investigating gardaí.
