A SIGNAL FAULT at Merrion Gate is causing major delays for DART, commuter and Rosslare services this evening.

Merrion Gate is between Sydney Parade and Booterstown.

It’s understood the fault has now been rectified but Irish Rail is still warning of delays.

Fault at Merrion Gates rectified, delays remain but will ease. Apologies for the significant delays this evening.

The issue was fixed under the supervision of both Irish Rail staff and gardaí.
