WELCOME BACK TO your new weekly regular: the DoneDeal.ie pick of the week.
Today, we’ve picked out two corkers from Linders. A silver Renault and Dacia with one thing in common – their low mileage.
First up is this 2013 Dacia Duster, priced at €12,950.
With a 1.5 litre diesel engine, good fuel efficiency and €270 road tax, this sporty Dacia is a smart buy for those after a compact SUV with low mileage.
The Duster is a good-looking car that features Bosch 8.1 ABS, as well as electronic brakeforce distribution (EBD) and emergency brake assist (EBA).
In 2011, the Duster was tested by the Euro NCAP, which gave it three stars. It was awarded 27 points (74%) for the adult occupant protection and 38 points (78%) for the child occupant protection.
This model comes fully serviced and with a comprehensive warranty for 12 months, with 19,000km on the clock. While the cabin can best be described as functional, it is solidly built and perfect for those with kids to ferry around.
Next is this 2014 Renault Fluence, with the impressively low mileage of just 3,920km.
This four-door saloon has a 1.5 litre diesel engine and lots of nifty little features inside – including Bluetooth, hands-free system, electric windows/mirrors and more little extras tucked away inside the cabin.
The fuel economy for urban areas is cited as 5.6 litres per 100 kilometres, and the top speed is 185 kilometres an hour.
The Fluence is a nice addition to Renault’s stable of dependable smaller family cars, and the low mileage on this particular car makes it a very attractive proposition indeed. Priced at €18,950.
