TWO MEN HAVE appeared in court in connection with last week’s cannabis haul worth an estimated €1.8 m. Philip Cairs, 24, of Ashlington Dale, Navan Rd, Dublin, and his brother Darren Cairns, 28, Laburnum Sq, Dublin, were charged with possession of drugs and intent to supply. They have been remanded in custody and a third man arrested in connection with the seizure is still being questioned.
