1. #CRASH: Police say they have found a “significant clue” at the home of Germanwings co-pilot Andreas Lubitz. Yesterday it emerged the pilot likely deliberately crashed the plane into the French Alps.

2. #TRUMP CARD: US billionaire Donald Trump has stepped into the debate over whether the Government should sell its stake in Aer Lingus. In a letter to Enda Kenny, obtained by the Irish Independent, Trump warns against the move, arguing it could damage Ireland’s tourism industry.

3. #ACCIDENT: Two men suffered serious burns after being showered with molten plastic a factory in Clare yesterday. The men, both in their forties, were airlifted to hospital.

4. #MARRIAGE REF: Support for same-sex marriage has fallen slightly, according to a Irish Times/Ipsos MRBI poll. The No side has jumped to 26% of the vote.

5. #HEATING UP: Now eleven countries have become involved in the offensive against rebels in Yemen, BBC News reports. Saudi Arabia has offered embattled the president of the country refuge.

6. #SQUATTING: Lord Mayor Christy Burke has expressed his support for work carried out by alleged trespassers at a property in Grangegorman, Dublin, RTÉ News reports. A judgement in the case is due today.

7. #COURTS: Another judgement is expected in the trial of Graham Dwyer. The jury have so far deliberated on a verdict for five hours.

8. #POWER: EirGrid has announced changes to plans for major projects across the country. It could now cost €2.7 billion, €500 million less than the price originally suggested.

9.  #IT’S A MIRACLE: A man has been given a suspended sentence for cultivating tomato plants that ‘miraculously’ transformed into cannabis plants, according to reports in today’s papers. The father-of-five moved into a rented property in Co Kerry, and tended to plants already growing in a polytunnel, that he believed to be a greenery of a less illegal nature.
