Eleventh arrest in connection with Ciarán Noonan abduction

The man was arrested in the Dublin area this morning, gardaí say.

AN ELEVENTH PERSON has been arrested in connection with the abduction and murder of Ciarán Noonan in October.

A man in his 40s was this morning arrested in the Dublin area.

Noonan was abducted in the East Wall area of Dublin on 20 October. His body was later found in a field near Trim in Co Meath.

Last Friday a man was charged with falsely imprisoning Noonan and has been remanded in custody.

The man arrested this morning is being held at Store Street Garda station under Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act 1984.
