Taoiseach on the Budget: 'There are some tough decisions in there'

TAOISEACH ENDA KENNY has warned that there are tough decisions in the Budget being announced today.

Speaking to reporters on his way into Government Buildings this morning, Kenny said there are “two central elements” to the Budget, saying one of these is exiting the bailout.

He described this as the “big prize” and said that the Budget will be framed in the interests of “the Irish people and Irish nation”.

The Cabinet is due to finalise the Budget at a meeting at midday today.
