Irish winner bags €24 million Euromillions jackpot

There is no information at present about where the winning ticket was sold.

SOMEONE IN IRELAND has scooped a massive €24 million prize in this evening’s EuroMillions draw.

The Irish winner was the only person on the continent taking home the top prize, although a number of smaller amounts were also won.

If this news has you frantically digging around for your ticket to check if you’ll finally be able to move to the Seychelles, here are the winning numbers:

Three players managed to match five numbers and one lucky star, winning them prizes of €442,253 (although none of these were in Ireland), and one Irish player managed to walk away with €55,282 after matching five numbers.

In Ireland there have only ever been 9 people who have scooped the Euromillions jackpot. Back in January one lucky individual took home a prize of more than €66 million.

There is no indication at the moment about where the ticket was sold or who won the prize.
