Over the past week, well-known film producer Harvey Weinstein has hit the headlines after allegations that he had sexually harassed female colleagues for decades.

As this article in the Guardian explains, many in Hollywood were not surprised with the “news”.

“We’re all fucking complicit, and it has to stop,” said producer Emily Best.

“The industry at large provided shelter for his bad behavior directly and indirectly” by staying silent, she said.
