The incident took place just after midnight yesterday.

NBC reports that Lieutenant Michael Pooley told a press conference the incident was “horrific”.

We don’t know what exactly happened. We don’t know what led the driver to do this.

Witnesses and police pulled the adults and two children out of the water. After learning that Reighn was unaccounted for, a search team discovered his body at about 10am.

Pooley said emergency services are “completely heartbroken” and “wish they could have been there faster”.

A GoFundMe page has been set up to raise money for the funerals.
