ONE OF THE biggest problems in Fanad, Co Donegal, for many years was the lack of opportunities or jobs for young people.
But that changed in 2016 when Fanad Lighthouse reopened as a tourism and Gaeltacht project.
The Journal spoke to Eimear Ní Mhathúna, the lighthouse keeper, about the history of Fanad Head and the importance of the lighthouse to the area.
Tá tacaíocht á fháil ag Beartas Gaeltachta The Journal ón Scéim Tuairiscithe ar Dhaonlathas Áitiúil.
