Firearms and drugs seized in Dublin

Cocaine, cannabis herb and ecstasy tablets were also seized at the apartment in Clondalkin yesterday.

FIREARMS AND DRUGS were seized by gardai during a search at an apartment in Clondalkin, Dublin 22 yesterday evening, 30 October.

A 27-year-old man has been charged in relation to the incident. He is due to appear before Blanchardstown District Court tomorrow morning.

While searching the apartment, the gardaí found cocaine with an estimated street value €100,000; ecstasy tablets with an estimated street value €11,500; and cannabis herb with an estimated value of €6,000.

They also seized two shotguns and a quantity of ammunition.

A woman in her 20s was also arrested but she has been released without charge.
