1. #GARDA ATTACK: An attack was carried out last night on a Garda Credit Union in Dublin with extensive damage being caused.

2. #WETHERSPOONS: The English pub chain is set to open an additional 30 pubs across Ireland in the next five years. Branches are set to open in Cork and Dublin in the near future.

3. #SAFE LANDING: A Virgin Atlantic plane which was circling over the coast of Sussex in England has come to a safe landing at Gatwick Airport. There had been issues with the plane’s landing gear.

4. #NURSES AND MIDWIVES: The Irish Nurses and Midwives Organisation has continued calls for members to boycott increased registration fees. 

5. #ASSISTANCE DOG: A Dublin restaurant has apologised after a member of staff called a young girl’s autism assistance dog “dirty” and “smelly”.
