3. #OVERTIME: Taoiseach Leo Varadkar has told the Dáil that the Garda overtime bill for December will be covered by next year’s budget, after it was revealed that this year’s’ budget had been spent.

4. #ÁRAS ATTRACTA: The Mayo care home for intellectually disabled adults may be facing closure after a Hiqa report found that a range of issues still had to be addressed.
