FOUR ESTABLISHMENTS IN separate locations were evacuated last night over hoax bomb warnings, Gardaí have confirmed.
Gardaí say that patrons of a hotel in Tullamore, Co Offaly, and nightclubs in Galway city, Ballinasloe, Co Galway, and Claremorris, Co Mayo, were evacuated at approximately 11pm after the authorities were informed of suspect devices at the locations.
Gardaí say the incidents appeared to be a hoax, and that once the locations were deemed safe customers were permitted to re-enter the establishments at 1am.
Investigations into this incident are ongoing and Gardaí have asked anyone with information to contact them.
