Gardaí seize €40k of cannabis in Longford raid

Two males were arrested, and one has been released without charge.

GARDAÍ HAVE SEIZED €40,000 worth of cannabis in a raid on a premises in Longford.

Two males were arrested and both detained at Longford Garda Station.

A 29-year-old was released without charge, and a file is being prepared for the DPP.

The 31-year-old arrested is still in garda custody this afternoon.

The search took place just after 9pm last night in Newtownforbes.
