Gardaí issue appeal over missing Mayo man

Anthony Canavan, a 44-year-old man from Castlehill, has not been seen since last Saturday.

GARDAÍ IN MAYO have issued an appeal seeking the public’s assistance in tracing the whereabouts of Anthony Canavan.

The 44-year-old man from Ballyvicmaha in Castlehill was last seen in Crossmolina last Saturday afternoon.

He is described as 5 foot 8 inches tall, medium build with short brown hair and blue eyes.

It is likely that he is driving a black Mitsubishi single cab pick-up with a registration number 97-MO-3165.

Gardaí in Ballina said that his family are concerned for his welfare and anyone with information is being asked to call the station on 096 20560.
