Are Halloween decorations too scary these days?

Halloween is creeping up…

NOW THAT ELECTION season has wrapped up, this Friday will look a little different from the last. Instead of canvassers knocking on doors, it’ll be trick-or-treaters out and about for Halloween.

You may have noticed some carved pumpkins at front doors, a few artificial cobwebs, maybe a cartoonish bat or two hanging about the place.

But lately, it seems like some houses and shops have been cranking the spooky dial all the way up.

We get it – Halloween is the one night of the year when pretty much everything goes. However, when does spooky cross the line into genuinely terrifying?

So, what do you think: Are Halloween decorations too scary these days?

Poll Results:

I think they're the right amount of scary (2917)
