Harcourt Street remains closed to traffic but open for Luas

The Luas Green Line is operating as normal this morning but motorists are being diverted down Hatch Street in Dublin city centre.

DUBLIN’S HARCOURT STREET remains closed to traffic this morning but the Luas tram service is operating as normal.

The city centre street was closed entirely yesterday following a fire in a building towards the top end of the street, near the junction with Hatch Street.

The street remains closed to traffic this morning but the Luas Green Line service is operating as normal. Motorists are being diverted down Hatch Street.

Five fire engines from the Dublin Fire Brigade were on the scene yesterday afternoon after a fire started in a derelict building. The incident was eventually wound down.
