APPLAUSE ALL ROUND for the winners of Ireland’s Best Kept Town and Villages competition which were announced yesterday.

To get a community into good shape, it requires everyone to make an effort – and that includes being vigilant about litter. Now we will presume that all of our wonderful TheJournal.ie users are clean and tidy but have you ever found yourself bringing someone else to task for littering in front of you?
