IS YOUR CURRENT private jet getting a bit tired, and you’re looking for a new little runaround for your jetsetting lifestyle?
Honda’s newest offer – and its first step into this market – could be the answer if you’ve a spare €4.12 million lying around.
The nipply Hondajet is designed to face less air resistance because its engines sit atop the wings instead of the rear of the fuselage. It also reduces engine noise inside the cabin.
Honda believes it will ”create a new standard of performance and comfort for small-sized business jets”.
Business Insider has dubbed it the “Honda Civic of jets”.
The Hondajet is performing demonstrations all over the world in advance of its release to the market, so let’s have a gawk at it:
The jet itself is eye-catching.
It can carry either five or six passengers and a pilot.
It comparision to one competitor, a Learjet 70, its has a slightly smaller wingspan but is much shorter.
It’s not the biggest private jet…
… but it’s still your own private jet.
There’s also room for bags and a toilet.
The plane made its maiden flight last year.
Honda says around 100 orders have been taken, and these are expected to be delivered in 2017. Watch the video below to take a more detailed tour.
