Inquiry after two killed, 12 injured in Galway crash

Two men were killed and 12 college students were injured in a road crash in Co Galway last night.

GARDAÍ ARE CONDUCTING an investigation into a road crash in which two men were killed and 12 college students were injured in Co Galway last night.

RTÉ reports  that a car and a bus collided at around 7.45pm on the N17 close to Tuam. The two who died were the drivers of the vehicles.

The 12 students who were injured were taken to Galway University Hospital following the crash. The students attend the University of Limerick, Limerick Institute of Technology and Mary Immaculate Teacher training college.

None of those taken to hospital are reported to be seriously injured.
