Investigation into fatal road accident in Sligo

GARDAÍ at Easkey in Co Sligo have opened an investigation into a fatal road traffic accident in the county earlier today, in which a male motorcyclist was killed. The man (32) was fatally injured after a collision with a van, which was pulling a trailer, on the N59 Galway-Sligo road at Owenbeg, slightly south of Dromore West. The area remains sealed off and diversions are in place.
