1. Met Éireann issued a new Status Yellow rain warning for Dublin and Wicklow overnight, as flooding may hit the counties.

2. Seamus Culleton, the Irishman who is being detained by immigration officials in the United States, could be deported home to Ireland as early as next week.

New Rotunda critical care unit denied planning

3. A new €100m critical care unit for the Rotunda Hospital has been denied planning permission by An Coimisiún Pleanála due to a small number of objections.
