Irish woman dies in East Africa

The Department of Foreign Affairs says that it is providing consular assistance in the case.

AN IRISH WOMAN has died while trekking in Africa.

The woman in her 30s died yesterday morning while trekking on Mount Kilimanjaro.

It is understood she is from the south of the country.

The Department of Foreign Affairs says that it is providing consular assistance in the case

The expedition company Earth’s Edge released a statement on its Facebook page saying that one of its clients had passed away yesterday morning.
