He’s certainly suave, but is he cool?
YES, THIS IS a poll about whether or not it’s accurate or fair to describe Pierce Brosnan – so far the only person from Navan to play James Bond – as ‘cool’.
The question sparked a heated (two-part) debate beween the co-hosts of podcast The Rest is Entertainment – with Marina Hyde insisting that while the actor was, indeed, suave, he didn’t quite hit the bar for coolness.
“Keanu Reeves is cool, Harrison Ford is still cool … Syndey Sweeney is cool because she seems like she just doesn’t care,” Hyde argued. Her bemused co-presenter, Richard Osman, insisted the former Bond star was “the coolest man I’ve ever met in my life”.
So we’re asking, quite simply … is Pierce Brosnan cool?
