The same cannot be said when it comes to our own political leaders. Anyone remember Enda Kenny's dad dancing?
Lately, the Taoiseach and Tánaiste Joan Burton have both shown themselves to be enthusiastic supporters of RTÉ's hit programme Operation Transformation in recent weeks.
First we had Kenny's brief appearance during a Castlebar walk which unfortunately involved this shuffle:
Video has now emerged of Burton featuring in this week's episode in which among other things the benefits of the Department of Social Protection's Tús scheme are highlighted. You can watch the full clip here.
But what you really want to see is Joan Burton's dancing:
Yep, there she is, our Tánaiste engaging in some sort of Saturday Night Live situation.
Not content with that, there's also this involving her Labour colleague Michael McCarthy. The less said about his antics the better.
