TALKS INVOLVING the pilots’ branch of the IMPACT trade union (IALPA) and Aer Lingus which began at the Labour Relations Commission today have adjourned for the night. The talks are set to resume tomorrow afternoon at 2.30pm. IALPA said in a statement this evening that some progress was made today, but did not provide further details. The talks are aimed at preventing threatened industrial action by the airline’s pilots next week, potentially causing major disruptions for passengers. The dispute centres on staff rosters.
