Man arrested over €250,000 drugs find

Gardaí found 33kgs of cannabis resin and 2kgs of cannabis herb during yesterday’s search.

GARDAÍ HAVE SEIZED drugs worth an estimated €250,000 during the search of a house in Liscarroll, Co Cork yesterday.

Around 33kgs of cannabis resin and 2kgs of cannabis herb were discovered during the operation.

A 23-year-old man was arrested this morning in connection with the drug seizure.

He is currently being detained at Bandon Garda Station under Section 2 of the Criminal Justice (Drug Trafficking) Act 1996.
