A MAN IN his 60s is in a “critical” condition in hospital after being discovered with serious injuries in Co Longford over the weekend.
Gardaí say they are “investigating all of the circumstances” surrounding the discovery of a man in Drumlish, Co Longford on Saturday, 8 November.
At around 7:30pm on that date, the man in his 60s was taken by ambulance to Mullingar General Hospital, where his condition is described as critical.
A technical examination was carried out at the scene.
The last known movements of the man were at Currabawn at around 7pm on 5 November.
Gardaí are appealing for anyone with information to come forward.
Any road users who may have camera footage, including dash-cam, and were travelling in the Currabawn/Mohill road, Drumlish area between 7pm on Wednesday, 5 November and 6:30pm on Saturday, 8 November are asked to make this footage available.
