Gardaí renew appeal to find Kilkenny man missing for two years

Valerijs Zimecs (46) was last seen on the Freshford Road in Kilkenny on 1 November 2015.

GARDAÍ IN KIKENNY are renewing their appeal for information on the two-year anniversary of missing man Valerijs Zimecs.

Zimecs (46) was last seen on the Freshford Road, Kilkenny, near St Luke’s Hospital on Sunday 1 November 2015.

He is described as being 6 foot in height, of stock build and with black hair. He was last seen wearing blue jeans and a grey sweatshirt.

“The investigation is still very much active and gardaí would be grateful of any information that the public can provide on the matter,” Superintendent Derek Hughes said, speaking at Kilkenny Garda Station today.

Anyone who has seen Zimecs or who can assist in locating him is asked to contact Kilkenny Garda Station on 056 777 5000, the Garda Confidential Line on 1800 666 111, or any garda station.
