IT WAS A week when the words that came out of Mitt Romney’s mouth confused pretty much the entire world.

Ireland manager Giovanni Trappatoni was on the defensive for much of the week, and produced some memorable quotes in the process.

Minister for Communications Pat Rabbitte had no problem communicating who he’d rather get his tax returns done by than take advice from Fianna Fáil.

He wasn’t being flattering to either.
