More election developments as Donegal count continues

AS COUNTING CONTINUES in Donegal South West, there are other electoral developments around the country. Fine Gael’s Ulick Burke has followed the lead of his constituency colleague Paul Connaughton by saying he won’t contest the next general election, while NUI senator Joe O’Toole says he too will bow out next time round. Ivana Bacik, meanwhile, is rumoured to be ran by Labour as a running mate to Eamon Gilmore in the hotly-contested Dún Laoghaire Dáil constituency.
