Motorcyclist dies after crashing into ditch

The incident happened shortly before 7pm.

A MAN HAS died after coming off a motorbike and crashing into a ditch in Kerry.

The collision happened shortly before 7pm on the Cahirciveen to Sneem road, around three miles outside Sneem.

He was pronounced dead at the scene. The man’s remains have been removed to Tralee Hospital and a post-mortem is scheduled to take place tomorrow.

No one else was injured.

The road was closed to allow an examination by a forensic collision team, but has since reopened.
